WHAT THE JIG CAN DO

JOINTEC is primarily used for removing material from the ends of smaller, rectangular pieces of wood. The jig excels at, but is not limited to:

• Half Laps

• Bridle Joints

• Bridled Miter Joints

• Splined Miter Joints

• Tenons

• Box Joints

• Through Dovetails*

  JOINTEC also doubles as a miter gauge which often eliminates the need to switch jigs during a joinery procedure.

*With standard table saw blades, TAILBOARDS will require clean up/waste removal with hand tools and/or other power equipment such as a scroll saw or band saw. Using a thin-kerf 7 1/4” blade will leave minimal clean up at the inside corners of the tails as well as allow for tighter tail spacing.
